I someone had really killed my mother in cold blood in the manner you described and tried to eliminate my family completely and had not even faced any punishment I would be at least be as angry as cyrus is.

I know this is a fantasy story but I filled just as horrified at what I too would term cowardice and total lack of morals shown in some of the characters, specially as is reflected in their blind obedience of their laws.
