At the end, we don't want Derick to be such an indifferent a-hole. The reason we like him in this story is that we can tell he's playing out a fantasy of his, and she's indulging him. If he's a dick at the end, after the sex, we lose that side of Derick. He just becomes a womanizing fucker who's not really relatable. Erotica is all about vicariousness, i.e., relatability. You should end it with them collapsing together, exhausted, both feeling very close, having just shared a slightly bizaare, intoxicatingly dirty experience. This would be an exciting, no BS start to a cool relationship. Don't have Derick blow it by giving her the boot. Just my 2 cents. A really good story.
