Damn, a real horror story! Hot until it turned horrific, but I was at least prepared for it by knowing that it was horror. Well done on this new author's part. Hopefully, however, he or she can do some not-so-chilling works too. Not that I object to some horror, but if he or she can do this with horror, a non-horror work should be VERY nice. I give this fast-paced quasi-Gothic tale a 5.
