Insightful and Funny

Gator Hermit's First Law of Relationships: women choose their mates. The Second Law: skillful women allow their mates to harbor the illusion that they had some say during the process. Perfect World Ch. 02, with Dinsmore's tongue firmly planted in his cheek, is an amusing commentary and is completely consistent with the First and Second Laws... enjoy!

Right On!

We've known each other at work for several years.

She has been my boss's admin assistant.

Both married to to others, not wonderfully. I'm leaving town for a job on the other side of the country. She invites me to a going away lunch. She says, "I have always had you in my "widows list".

We've been living together for 26 years, married for 23, have a 20 year-old son.

Every now and then she "presents". Wow!!!

I'm glad

It's nice to know a few words about betrayal can inspire something this good. I seem to remember something similar to this happening almost 25 years ago. Then it was a summer school math class at a University May 82. She got a ring in January and I got one for the nose in August. I think it had more to do with those almost Daisey Dukes she wore. She saved them and they still fit (3 daughters later). Wears them a couple times every summer and causes the same reaction as the first time. I never stood a chance!

He chased her

and he chased her and he chased her, 'till she caught him. She fell in love the first time we met and I never stood a chance thirty-seven years ago. Right on, gaterhermit. Phil
