I thought that you said that the dialogue would be in Spanish! and was looking forward to it.
Thanks for the Perils of Pauling type ending... No one
is going to ask if there will be another chapter though
you left me wondering if the blow behind his ear was just
the wharf or if was administered by a third party.
One thing I did not understand was why Maria and he were invited to the pre-cruise party when he was told that it
was for the upper staff only. His being called would blow
whatever cover he might have needed, and I thought that it
meant that Maria was also involved with the Cruise Line.
Keep up the good work. I am curious as can be about the presence of Candy.

OK. I'm totally in now. I've known people hurt for less but for his so -called wife to show up like that ---- CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THAT RATIONALE!!! Great Work JR.
This could get complicated, I suppose.. Maybe Candy decided to NOT sign the papers?? And just how badly is he hurt?? Will his memory be affected?? Why does he run into Candy, anyway?? Does she actually spend her time on cruise ships??
Intriguing! Could Candy turning up at the docks be a coincidence? Is he badly injured? What will Ana do? Yes a super "Cliff Hanger" Jake! Altogether, a nice romantic tale. Pete.
Jake. This story is a fine example of why you and DG Hear have become my favorite male authors on this site. You both tell a great tale, but even more so is that you each take time to develop the characters, lay the story line out, and do the research. The fact that you are also able to quietly inject a sub-plot and put in the twist doesn't hurt either. Thank You. Ronnie W.
She is trash and will trash him given the chance -
