And this one in particular. What the hell Patrick? A cop? Is he running a sting? The thing is, hasn't he been
"in business" for quite a while? I remember him saying something about trying to find out more about Aileen for years, right? So that's too long for a simple sting operation. Still and all, if Gunnar is calling him, that can't be good. I think she's going to want to cut and run, but the question is, can she right now? She wants to be sure her brother's kids are okay, and she wants her brother committed, plus she wanted a certain amount of money before she started a new life. So I think she's going to feel trapped and unable to run right yet. Oh, I can't wait til the next update to see how she reacts.

He was right. We fucked each other all day, but that wasn't right in my head. There were times when it was tender, making love, when there were no tricks, games, or family names, when we were just Patrick and Aileen. I liked those times too much.
What was he right about? And then she says "we fucked all day, but that wasn't right in my head." Does she mean she didn't feel right with just the fucking any more?
And right above, he is still dominating her, telling her she can't come. Then it just jumps into later in the day. Was there a paragraph or two that completed that earlier session?
I'm enjoying the story a lot.
