11 years, i guess there's no more to come from the author. 4 stars. My ending, the older brothers finally leave. Young Tim stays behind to try and make up for his brothers bad behavior. Her husband never comes back, most likely killed by Indians or bandits. She does have a rape baby, and loves it with all her heart. Young Tim grows into a fine young man, and fixes everything on the ranch. He catches, and breaks wild horses which they sell to the Army. She finally takes him to her bed, and they live as mates with 3 more children. The years pass, the kids grow strong, and the whole family makes the ranch a success. The brothers never return. It was said they were hung for cattle rustling. Best this non writer could come up with. Semper Fi.
