Interesting

I actually liked it. I use some of the same methods. What works best for me is just step away, even if it's a couple of days. If the block is on a particular type story, I might read a couple of other authors work to see what they have done.

My favorite method is to ask myself, "What would I do if I were in the same situation as my character?" Then I write it. Not for everyone but it works for me.

Good stuff, here! I most especially loved suggestion 13; that's the funniest thing I've read in a how-to article in a very long time!!! You go, girl!!!
