It's called TALENT
This writer has zero talent.
Hasnt he?its great.
i sent out my email asking for suggestions, or is that why you wrote it, to keep others from asking the same question i did. good luck on the contest hon, have a good one.
I actually liked it. I use some of the same methods. What works best for me is just step away, even if it's a couple of days. If the block is on a particular type story, I might read a couple of other authors work to see what they have done.
My favorite method is to ask myself, "What would I do if I were in the same situation as my character?" Then I write it. Not for everyone but it works for me.

I figure if I can say it, I can stand behind it.
Good stuff, here! I most especially loved suggestion 13; that's the funniest thing I've read in a how-to article in a very long time!!! You go, girl!!!
It's sad I can never think of what could help me when I dealing with writer's block, thanks lol I might be able to get back to my other stories :P
It is refreshing that you say not to force yourself. Writing. Is something I enjoy and I never want it to feel it is a chore.
I have so much to learn and I look forward to developing my craft. Take care.
