Amazing

Your words so thought out, so deep, this was THE BEST story I have read in a very long time. I cried in anger at the ending. Please don't stop writing, you are one of the greats!

Implication

Alfred Hitchcock is cited as the best example of using the imagination by giving it space to work, and I like the blanks you have made for us.

"Music is the space between the notes." - Debussy, as quoted in Turning Numbers into Knowledge: Mastering the Art of Problem Solving (2001) by Jonathan G. Koomey, p. 96

I like this story very much, for its strength, subtlety, and brevity.
