Should I fan myself or say "Oh, dear?"

Quirky, interesting poem, Ms. L. I'm not sure I understand the reference of the title, but the poem itself is pretty funny. I think. Hope. Hope you thought you were being funny. Maybe you were being sad, in which case I would feel bad and stupid. Whatever.

This line: "It may be baseball season / or the fall of the double entendre" is completely brilliant.

You remain, of course, my favorite poet. 'Cuz of interesting things like this.

Your vivid imagination betrays your abstinence or at least your frustration with your love life. Is it circumstance or choice? Whatever, stay celibate and keep writing these poems. ;-)
