My father died when I was that age and you wrote that episode well I remember very similar struggles. This chapter was too short. I prefer an author to wait until they are ready rather than rushing out such a short chapter. If the writing is good the readers will wait. I thought that your first chapter started poorly and improved by the end. This was a lot better and very promising for a first time author. Good luck. Thanks. UK CYNIC.
