Sharp

I enjoyed reading this witty and thought provoking poem,Tzara.

The tone and imagery of the first two stanzas remind me of Marquez (esp lines like 'The flies laid out like corpses /

In a shuttered funeral home')

The sinisterness underpinning the description provides a fitting backdrop to the latter half of the second stanza and the wit of the third.

Damn this is good. I'm suprised more people hadn't commented on it. So many great images and one really jumps out at me 'Grows fat on the meat of self-praise,' that so describes too many politicians.
