Maybe, you didn't want to give the impression that could relinquish a control of your life you didn't want to lose? I have no idea!! I hope if this is, in fact real, that there is a real good chance that keeping connected means there is a future for the two of you....or is it a writing style that keeps you guessing and ultimately keeps the audience, no matter how frustrating??
