Great start for a story... nice build up.

Now for the bad news... I don't think it felt like a complete chapter. I would have preferred you to write the next part and post it with this part to assist me in reading a complete story. This made me feel like I read a much-hyped tv show only to discover that the first episode only had the build up with no climax or plot.
