I can't count how many times I have read and reread this story and it still brings tears to these old eyes. The love of a big brother for his little sister and the love of her best friend for both of them is very touching and heart warming indeed.

This was a very sweet, very touching little story.

I usually like long stories and was prepared to not like the intermittent flashback style, but it actually worked well for this story. Good job!

Any cancer story gets me - i lost my mom to it. That was fucking hard, i can't imagine losing a sibling (and thank god i can't imagine losing a child) but your story really gets the emotions. Really well written.

I liked the way you showed love between one man & two women. One a sister other a lover. The difference in feelings was done well.

I would venture to say that virtually everyone reading these stories is closely related to or well acquainted with someone who lost their battle against cancer. For many, it is multiple instances. I find it impossible to read this story and remain unaffected.
