I love the storyline that you're writing but it needs editing a bit better. You keep going in and out of different tenses, past tense then present tense then sometimes both in one sentence. Stick to past tense because present tense is odd in a story. It's really distracting.

Apart from that, I like it a lot.

I would just say not to rush it so...add a little more detail, esp. around the transitions. It would have been good to put it earlier that Val knew Cat was his mate. That was just thrown in at the end as he left the room...You have an awesome story! Hope we get another chapter soon.

I can't wait for the next chapter but I wish you hadn't skipped 2 months in this chapter. I think it seems a little like a cop out because we don't get the building of the M/T relationship and I don't know if I believe that nothing would happen between V/C in those 2 months. I hope you continue and we see a little from C/V then just Val wanting Cat giving in because I think Val already gets that alot from women - I hope Cat makes him treat her well too.

I really like the new dimension you've taken with this story, the links between all the characters and their destinies. I disliked Valerin at first until the last paragraph. Hopefully he'll start actually giving a damn about Cat now. I like the idea of Cat's feistiness and standing up to Val but her submissiveness towards him also adds a new layer to her character and their relationship. Things are definitely starting to get interesting so keep it up! Don't give up and please post the next chapter soon! You have fans waiting!

you really need to look into editing. you have a really great story going here but all the gramatical errors throughout all 5 chapters is extremly distracting and pretty annoying. if i were you i would take them down, get them edited, and repost!

This is a really good story, I like the caracters a lot and the story thread. The grammar and spelling annoy me a bit, you really should get someone to edit your stories for you. But please keep on writing, I would really like to hear more :)

I'm really loving this story and anxiously awaiting the next chapter! I love the characters, they seem remarkably well developed for what little we know about them so far and the story line is progressing well (though I'm dying to read what happens next). That being said I have some thoughts to improve the story. A) watch your grammar, it's mostly just fine but here and there (especially during sex scenes) there is some switching back and forth between present and past tense and a few places where either re-wording the sentence or adding more commas would make things a little clearer. B) So far you're doing fine but this story could really easily become very similar to other stories both on this site and elsewhere and I would hate to see a promising beginning wasted on a story that becomes unoriginal and cliched. Overall this is a great start, keep writing!

Its crap to start a story like this that is so good and then not post more chapters in over a year...

Seriously, don't bother to add any more chapters - the constant changing tense, misspelled words and bad grammar detract from what little story you've managed to tell. Add the fact that you have males that are insensitive clods who only think about sex - even when the woman is hurt or shows fear is disgusting. Best ending for this story is to delete it from this site.

Screw the anonymous "Don't Bother" comment. If a reader can't stretch their own imagination even a tiny bit to forgive minor grammar errors, then they don't deserve the capability. But having an editor look over your work wouldn't hurt.

Having said that, hope you're working on the next chapter!

Anonymous Don't Bother....I can only say don't read. Perhaps if I had found an editor who actually helped then I would have used one. I mean honestly I got worse comments when I USED an editor then without. Oh yeah it's called chicken to hid behind Anonymous....please don't read chapter 6. Perhaps you do it so no one will know who you are and can't look up your own stories for errors...if you have any stories that is.

Anonymous Crap....I'm so sorry that my awful life has hampered my writing skills. I am sorry that the caring of my mother then her sudden death early last year came before finishing Alpha Protection, it was unkind of me to inconvenience you like that.

To everyone else who has been waiting I am sorry that I haven't posted another chapter and I soon hope to remedy that if the muses will let me. I thank everyone for their support in this story and even for the dislike comments...when done tactfully. I mean there is no reason to be rude because you don't like something. Simply state your dislikes NICELY and move on.

I will await your finale. Dont worry about the haters, you have a great story here. You can find an editor easily. And I followed it just fine, but I always use an editor.

I also understand why the story is taking a while, my Dad died in an accident 3 years ago. Some ppl have no clue!
