I found the story to be inspiring because I've never been there and wondered how things are . I'd like to go myself but I don't have anyone to go with. What happens with the woman is what I'd like to experience but my husband would never go for that. I'm a little nervous about going alone.

It's now 2014 and this is still pretty much how it goes there. As an occasional patron there, myself - I'll attest to the fact that this place is exactly as described, This author has certainly been there and probably enjoyed the experience he described. I have been lucky myself, on a couple of occasions, to have been involved in similar activities there. It's not the cleanest place you'll ever see, but anything ( and everything ) seems to be tolerated there. Go & enjoy. Currently $10 charged for each side. It's just movies shown - bring your own "fun".
