If only something like this could happen. Divorce would be so much easier. Short but to the point. I enjoy stories that have a twist like this, you have trouble figuring out what is about to happen...and I admit, I was way off base on this story. This author definitely is original and creative and must have a great imagination. Thank You for a wonderful story.

that she never cheated or that she was shooting at Jack. I think the recoil just caused her to miss her husband and hit her lover. Too bad, so sad. The only thing that would have made it better was for the shotgun to fly up and hit her between the eyes and put her in a vegetative state. Now that would have made the story a 5 for sure.

The husband hated the wife for over three years and the evidenced adultery gave him grounds for divorce with an advantage in any property division, and no alimony. Jack did him a favor. The past descriptions of Jack's behavior showed him a friend and Jack was getting the hubby out of a bad marriage. Bad form to have Jack fall for the harpy and bad form for the husband to want Jack dead.

Jack was fucking Bob's wife BEHIND his back. Jack didn't supply the pictures -Bob did! But in one fell swoop Bob gets rid of his cheating wife and his backstabbing ex-best friend. GENIUS!

Hopefully the cheating slut in this story will get the death penalty. I can't help but wonder how many cheating sluts get set up for murdering their lover(s)? It seems to me to be something that would be damn near the perfect revenge. Of course it would involve a lot of planning but what the hell, it would be worthwhile just to see the cheating bitch suffer while knowing all the time she is innocent.

I am such a sucker for happy endings. You know?

A whole story in a nutshell

Wow...this is like a ton of bricks...although why is there a sho...nevermind, those questions don't matter. I can't believe the wife's reasoning, that it was because he showed interest in her. Doesn't that happen all the time with women? Three months is pretty damn friendly...or is it? One part of me says blame is inversely proportional to time persued, but another says that the spouse should be brought in to help remediate problems. There's another part but I'll leave that for another day. Oh, and cool story.

But a little far fetched. One common complaint that I have is the spelling of clothes. They are usually made from cloth but once made into clothing the cloth becomes clothes. Get it right already!

The story read like a joke, Jack’s final act to ‘save’ him was predictable.... but as I read it, I expected she’d hit him in the head with a cast iron fry pan, or a lamp, or other heavy household object. Slapstick style, not a shotgun.

I am still trying to make up my mind whether this author is male or female. In the short story format he or she rattles off shots at all the sexes with the speed of a Gatling gun on steroids. Well done (clap clap clap).
