you earned this five!!
It's the dream of everyone to be romanced like this. It was such a delight to read! The story flowed because the writing is so good. SuperHeroRalph has great talent.
where would we be without our valentines day
what a bunch of crap
very nice i really liked, would have enjoyed more raw sex, but still good and very real and loving
I enjoyed the story. Seemed more realistic than many of the stories in this catagory, e.g. cuckholded white husband, adultery, etc.
Easy read. Probably a disappointment to those looking for a stroke story.
and to the crap commenter, unless they leave a name, ignore them for they are cowards, and it would be interesting to see what happens to these two down the road a ways
I even dated a few black men. But I was always looking for a white man for a husband. I did find my "white knight" in shining armor and broke a lot of hearts when I did, both white and black...and brown.
Part of the reason, I think, is that I wanted kids that very much look like me. I am blond. My two daughters are blond. All three of us have fair skin that does tan lightly. All three of us have very similar looking faces. Very attractive with good ratios on the sizes of things, like full, lips, thin noses, blue eyes with a pretty shape. I like that people I haven't seen in years will see my daughters and know immediately that they are my daughters.
Had had those kids with a black man, that would not have been the case.
Now, I will say this. Had it just worked out that I fell in love with a black man and it worked out and we had children, I would have loved them no less.
But it worked out for me that I got what I was looking for.
Another issue is one of culture. The few black men I dated not typical black men. And if I would have ever married a black man, it would have been one of them, or a guy like them. They were very well groomed, well dressed, and well spoken. One told me that he caught a lot of crap for "talking white," which is not something you can just start doing to impress a girl. It is something that comes from a family talking with proper English at home throughout the child's life. So the fact is, other than the fact that my children wouldn't look like me, I never really thought of them being any different than the white guys I dated.
The point is that I never dated and never would have dated typical black guys who do not talk and dress and groom themselves "proper." In other words I don't get into the thug, hood, ghetto, hip hop slang or style. I am a professional woman, college educated, etc... It's not that I think I am better than anybody else, it is what I feel comfortable with. What feels like home, if you follow what I am saying.
I did like this story though because Jefferson reminded me somewhat of the black men I dated. I simply got the impression that he was a well spoken professional, which is the type of black man I would date.
Until you give us your real name and address stop pretending you're braver than any other anonymous poster.
very humourous, rosy ending a fun and entertaining read
