I don't know what you're planning, but 8 chapters in and I can't even figure out what everything I've read so far has to do with the "trashy vampire serial" premise. I've heard of taking it slow, but I'm not exactly sure what all this is building up to or why it couldn't just have been squeezed in a single mutli-page chapter instead of 8 short, slow ones.
