Liked the fact that the 2 main characters didn't just jump into bed with each other and started going at it like drunken monkeys after they disovered that they had mutual feelings/attraction for each other. This was a good, solidly built story that works either as a standalone or as a continuation. Well done.

I only wish you'd made it into a longer story. It was a beautiful story and could only have been bettered by letting their story unfold more slowly and by continuing it from this scene.

I only didn't understand why he didn't want to see Rox if they were best friends. Even if he loved him and wasn't comfortable with it, wouldn't he want to see him and allow them to grieve together. Glad Rox didn't let him avoid seeing him.

A story soft and gentle like the rain that falls after a big storm. A sweet yet sad love story for all the wasted time John and Rox could have shared together.

I enjoyed reading this story of love between friends I found it helped answer a few of my own feelings and now I need the courage to act on them. Wish me luck I am hoping things will take a similar path as this story.
