This was a great chapter, but way too short!!! I can see you're buidling things up and trying to set the scene so to speak. I'm just being greedy, because I'm enjoying this story so much. I'm glad that David can see that Laura needs to stop internalizing all her emotions. I just hope he can help her get past the numbness. Please update again soon!!!

Was kinda hoping there'd be an inbetween interlude between David and Carey, since the last chapter seemed to indicate they'd both be interested in a casual, fun fling. But if that's not in the cards, I understand.
