As for the story, I think we're missing a very key component here. We still don't know why Nate did what he did. Why did he cheat? Was their relationship as perfect as he says or is that his view looking back on it. We all tend to forget the negative when we look back later. I'm thinking a flashback to the time when he cheated would be really good. It would help us to understand who Nate is. I found him to be pretty damn cocky to essentially say 'hey you still love me and you'd probably take me back and since I still want you...' I'd like to understand this guy. Is he one of those people who just destroy what is good in their lives? I hope he also can convince Thaniel and the reader that there is a reason to believe he won't just do this again. I hope Thaniel surprises him and expects him to prove he is different. I really don't want him to just prove Nate right by taking him back easily. Happy New Year, and enjoy your vacation!
