This feels like a well framed writing prompt, the sad thing is none may actually write it. I wish it was a creative commons non-restrictive licensed.

The story started out good with the back story and got very interesting after a while. Now that you've got my attention, you end the story, not nice. Seriously, all the groundwork is laid out and ready for another chapter. It's sad that it won't be expanded because it has potential. Seeing that it's been posted so long ago, it's more like a snippet of a thought for a story that's just jotted down.
