Has this story, after so long, come to such a low-key ending? Perhaps it has - and perhaps it is fitting; I have still to find the original, to which I am sure the author has been as true as true can be. I have been anticipating the end of this story for the last few chapters, but I never gave a thought to its having an ending like this - if, indeed, it is the ending, as I mention above. I have a feeling there is more to be told but then I may be wrong; it wouldn’t be the first time and I doubt very much it will be the last.
