That was cruel finishing the 1st chapter so quickly. I was enjoying reading it then it suddenly it stopped....

Looks like I'll have to wait for the next chapter. I hope it's not too far away but I'll be looking out for it.

While what you have is well written, there isn't much. I thought it was an odd choice to stop. Hopefully you'll post a continuation quickly otherwise as well written as it was it can be easily forgotten. Cliffhangers generally leave you wanting more. Stopping here just caused confusion as to where you're taking the story.

With the exception of the abrupt stopping point, I enjoyed your first submission. I look forward to the continuation of the story, hopefully with slightly longer chapters. I also appreciate not finding an abundance of errors often found in 1st time submissions.
