This is an entertaining yarn. The author knows what she is doing, engaging the reader and slowly thickening the plot by giving us the back story after an action packed and violent chapter 1. She succeeds in making the reader care and empathize with the heroine, which is a difficult undertaking because she is after all a professional killer.
