In all seriousness, it's quite well-written, the narrator's voice is very clear, and the matter-of-fact way he talks about his life actually creates more pathos than florid, flowery prose. You definitely get mixed feelings for him, since a lot of his pain comes from his own bad choices...and yet, you know he can't really see that...
This one stays with you. I'm going to be thinking about this.
