This one could go on for several chapters and I would like to have you do that. But it is your story and you told enough of it to keep me interested. The way you built up the characters I was looking forward to a lengthy, in depth story and was fairly disapointed when you ended it. But like he said, it's your story and I still gave it 5 stars. Great read and thanks for sharing!

such an abrupt ending

this is less than half a story, a GOOD writer would never leave it like this they would bring it to a PROPER ending. two more three page chapters would finish it nicely.

I read it before and enjoyed it then. Just got through reading it all over again and still really like it. 5 stars.

In the late 1950's I was at Barksdale ABF and for a summer I had a House boat on Caddo Lake. This story brings back many memories of the people in that area.

The story was just as I would envision it happening in that part of the country. Very descriptive and well written. 5*

Great story. Brought back childhood memories. I grew up north of Shreveoprt an used to fish at Caddo Lake during HS.

This reminded me of something long, long ago, but will never come to fruition at my age or at this time in my life. Too bad.
