I have all ready started downloading Zane Gray to my Kindle. Woodie really produces some interesting characters. Kathleen seems tremendously adaptable and a fast learner!
Very good, so far. I new I should have waited for you to complete this whole story before I started reading. Now I can't wait for more!!!

Your comments are valid so far as they go. Horseshoes would leave a clear trail on cap-rock. Where in the story have you found a reference to Buck being shod ?? While it is an easy assumption to make, not all "westerners" shod their horses. I own and ride 3 horses, none of which need shoes, because I pay attention to their feet. With the care that Zach shows for Buck, and the trail skills described, it would be a reasonable idea to me that he is not shod.
and a Mr. Anonymous with any education would know to put an "an" before words beginning with a vowel.

I've only read the 2 chapters so far, but I will continue to the end if the quality stays as high as those I've read.
I do have a couple of minor quibbles, but nothing enough to distract from the 5* I gave you on both chapters.
Keep up the good work.
Mike
I hope that all the chapters are not this short.
