All Comments on 'The Cat's Bride'

Reminded me a bit about a movie I saw once. I think there was a anime movie about a cat kingdom. Or maybe it was a manga.

Yep, there is a Anime movie called The Cat Returns in which a girl is kidnapped and brought to the Cat Kingdom to be the Prince's bride. However, the real inspiration for this story is a different anime series I was watching called Aria, in which the main character is a sort of ditzy apprentice who seems to have the Cat King - or similar character - interested in her. In one episode, she is talking to the guy that won't admit to himself that he likes her, and she confesses that she has been seeing someone in secret for years. It turned out to be a statue, BUT I couldn't stop thinking! What if she was talking about the Cat King that watches over and protects her? What if she was secretly going to marry him? And that's how this story was born :-)
