Ok im hooked! Im going to have to read more of this. No reason he cant go on to Evansville( which is just some 40 minute drive from my house) then come back for her and the boys and take them home with him.

You now have me hooked DreamCloud. This is well written, intriguing with a killer 'hero' who has a rigid sense of right/wrong. Not with his job, but with himself. Good job making him a likeable guy. Do we get to see what made him this way? Or just enjoy the journey

Nothing like family, I had my first one that lasted 13 years and two daughters and ended with a bored and cheating wife and the loss of the two daughters. That was 40 years ago. Met a good woan with four kids for the second family, the wife lasted almost 40 years before she passed. Her last wors to me were I Love You and she went to sleep for the last time. That was over three years ago. She is missed by all of us. Family, never take it for granted. Great story about a strange man.
