All wolves are her children. Just because she called him her son it is simply the term she uses when she calls them. For females obviously it would be her daughter. Dan is simply one of her favorite wolves since as I showed when he faced Amaratsue and Red in Chapter 11 he doesn't bow to anyone easily.

The same goes for his Mistress. Part of it is she simply wouldn't understand an Alpha doing more than kneeling in front of her. By kneeling the Alpha's are giving her the respect she is due. For junior wolves she would expect them to submit.

This story is like watching a TV series.It's magnificent to me. I can picture it all as I read,very well done. Looking forward to future episodes.
