Sated for the moment
lying side by side
Talking low
and staring
into each other's eyes
Hands lazily
moving
touching here and then there
Warming cooling
flesh
caressing faces, playing with hair
Slowly, slowly
igniting
that afterglow into a flame
Until their
thoughts once more
vanish into love's blaze
Writhing,
twisting body parts
entangle, slick with sweat
Crying out
in urgency
with every labored breath
Exploding
in each other's arms
holding tight in love once again
Together,
collapsing softly down
to sleep and to dream....of them.
