Because the need to counteract some of the touchy feeliness I have felt since I started posting on the "what feeds your soul" thread (S. ya know ;) ) I felt it neccessary to start this thread to give each of us the opportunity to vent off about those little things that occur every day that just well..piss you off.

So with that said..here we go....

Cell phone batteries.

Thinking too much.

People who don't realize what is in front of them when they look at someone.

The fact that there are too many damn "Judge Judy" type shows on t.v.

Your turn all :)

I'll start this off with one of my petty little pet peeves from Lit. It drives me nuts when people start a thread and don't even take the time to verify if they spelled all the words in the thread title correctly. A corollary to this is when someone uses the wrong word in a thread title (example: "Chicagoland Role Call").

After all, this is a bulletin board that is dedicated, in part, to the celebration of erotica - that is to say, to good writing. Sheesh.

Someone who bitches and moans they just can't lose weight even though they eat "next to nothing" and exercise for "hours".

Anyone who thinks I am interested in the latest reality TV crap they are watching.

Anyone who asks for my opinion but is really just wanting my approval.

Thankyou, I feel better now.

When someone asks for my opinion on something and then gets mad at me for giving my honest opinion, simply because it isn't the one that they wanted to hear.

The slang that I see used (bad spelling, etc.) in some posts.

Good counterpoint, firefighter. :)

What pisses me off...

Followers who are blind as a bat when they lose their coattail.

Illegal downloads. (Ahem. I will stop RIGHT THERE on that one.)

Lack of communication.

The way coke machines don't always put out even when you pay them the right amount!

My CD player. I'm gonna throw that fucker if it skips ONE more time.

This could become the second half of a Hannity and Colmes of therapeutic threads, along with "What Feeds Your Soul." :D

When people complain to me for the second (or more) time about something that is under their control without having done anything about it since the first time I heard the complaint.

The way Lit seems to hang up for no conceivable reason just after I have clicked on the "Submit Reply" button.

People who take their "news" from political commercials or tv commentary shows that are little more than paid political commercials.

Running out of scotch.

Things that piss me off?

Stupid people.

having to be an adult all the time.

People that complain about being broke, but too lazy to get a job.

People that hurt people I care for.

I am sure there are others, but that will suffice for now.

The running out of scotch doesn't bother me because I am not a drinker.

But the complaining about something that they are doing nothing to change just really burns my ass....

Hmmmmm

Dumb Questions posted on Lit.

Spam email.

The current Presidential liar in office.

Politicians and lawyers in general.

Illegal Downloading (like sheath I'll pass on this for another thread).

People that make false claims.

Quacks and quackeries and the people that believe in them.

Anything that wastes money.

Broken Condoms.

Poor quality adult toys.

I could go on, but I need to keep some items to myself incase someone makes up another thread like this. Which would piss me off also. :D

people who chew with their mouths open

people who walk way too slowly with their buddies and take up the whole sidewalk (nothing wrong with strolling...just leave room so I can rush by if I am in a hurry)

girls who are skinny and beautiful and complain about being overweight.

being asked to rinse my mouth out after giving a guy head before he would even come near me (this guy had a very short shelf life, mind you...got tired of that one REAL quick.)

snow on March 21st (which is what I experienced today in central Ohio.)

what pisses me off?
my stupid computer
customers who dont listen and then get abusive
people who believe the world revoles around them
housework
work
car drivers who dont give way to cyclist

that will do for now.

DECEIT
Especially if it's from one of your absolute closest friends, or at least someone you put your very best trust in, and they let you down :(

hmm...

cell phones

mtv

reality tv

people who lie like rugs

bad porn

J.Lo

this guy I work with (hahahaha)

the way my bc makes me a tad..umm...dry a few days of the month

Oh boy... where to start? I can go on forever with this thread, but here are a few, in no particular order,

Idiots

People who think they know something about everything.

People who just can't be wrong about anything.

Clowns

Ass-kissers

Being politically correct

The new kindler-gentler basic training

Those who judge what I've done, when they have no idea what it was like in the first place.

Those who say I'm a "bad person" because I'm in the military.

Teen-agers

Back-stabbers

Mimes, friggen stealth clowns

Piss poor leadership

Those who refuse to take responsibility for their actions.

Being told Bosnia wasn't a war.

Seeing officers handed medals for doing logistical work, 500 miles from the fighting when those that should have been awarded those medals for fighting were given jack-shit.

Work-place politics.

Airmen who have zero respect for anyone who outranks them.

People who joined the military for college money, and not a desire to serve their country.

Like I said... I can go on for ever. I'll update it more later.

My biggest one is people who don't buckle up their kids. If you, as an adult, decide that you don't want to wear a seatbelt, then by all means that is your perogative. However, as a parent, you have a duty to do everything you can to protect your child, which includes buckling them up. For children too big for a car seat but still under 100 pounds, a booster seat is a must; otherwise, you risk serious spinal injury if you just strap your kid in with a regular seatbelt.

Yeah, I know, we've all heard stories of a friend's friend who almost burned to death or died because of a seatbelt, but one of my realtives is a paramedic, and as she says, "We've never treated a car accident victim who would have been better off NOT wearing their seatbelt. If they received serious injuries while wearing a seatbelt, then they'd be dead if they hadn't been."

Drunk drivers are my second one. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who kills another person while driving drunk should be charged with first degree murder. It is a premeditated act that could easily be avoided with one phone call to a cab company. And if you are too proud to admit that you have had too much to drink, then you are too inmature to be drinking in the first place.

People who initate conversations via im and then just disappear.

Especially when they start a debate and it is obvious that they can't win...

LMAO... My son does that to me all the time. He's away at college, so we use MSN to avoid long distance phone charges.

It took a while, but I finally figured out that he often has 3 or 4 IM's open simultaneously. So, it's not that he's ignoring me... I just don't rate as far as fast responses go. When I see his pop-up messages now, I waste no time in asking him what he wants or needs. I answer him, ask if there's anything else...

... and say "Bye." :p

One thing that pisses me off...

People that put kids in the front passenger seat knowing damn well that there's an airbag right in front of them. I have friends that lost their 6 year child old this way in the mid 90's.

What really got to me, though, was that they tried to blame the automobile manufacturer... when in fact it was a careless decision that the mother made in allowing her child to sit there. Those airbag warning stickers are on the dashboard for a reason.

Even though the 'second generation' airbags inflate at slower speeds, there is still potential for harm. Please, people, put your kids in the back seat it you value their lives.

I have a male friend that is an adult and still has scars from being hit in the face with an airbag. If you are of a shorter nature, then please, look into having them disabled altogether. Several petite women and shorter men have been seriously injuried from those danged things.

As to the im thing, I can understand it with family and I am usually most patient. Or even friends who let me know what is going on, it is the ones that give no excuse or worse, some really lameass excuse, that piss me off royally.

ooooh good topic for me today!! (pissy mood)

lemme see...

people who talk on their cell phones and drive! Christs sake just hang up and call them back when you're stopped!

People who don't properly restrain their kids in a moving vehicle. I can't count the times I've seen a little head popping up in the back seat of a car in front of me and prayed mom and dad didn't have to slam on the brakes!

Stupidity!...nuff said there.

Religious right wing nutjobs!...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

People who can't control their kids, such as the lovely little girl who spent our entire dinner last night crawling around our table and talking to our 4 year old while rooting thru our baby's diaper bag and picking her nose. All the while mom and dad were oblivious and enjoying their meal.

people who lie!

skinny witches who complain about nothing fitting them!

people who are two faced.

there are more but that'll do for now.

These Piss me off:

Air Bags!
ABS brakes!
Those stupid red lights right at eye level blinding the cars behind.
SUVs (Stupid Usless Vehicles)
People who complain they can't get along on only $100,000/yr.
Busch (The pres, not the beer, but that is pretty bad too!)
(Yes, I spell it that way on purpose!)
Liars
Cheaters
Everything ABN_Ranger listed
HR People
Management
Help Desks
Automated answering systems instead of real people
noisy, inconsiderate, self-centered, egotistical people
Cell phones use in cars, resturants, schools, and other public places
The courts, judges, lawyers racket
Health insurance costs
Car insurance costs
