I consider myself a pervert too but there is no way I am tolerant of ALL fetishes. Sorry but some things should not be done.
 
sorry, but I gotta go with cinnamonstick on this one, certain fetishes and " deviant" sexual practices need to be left alone. As a parent and rational adult there is no way in hell you'll get me to condone say pedophilia for ex.

There seems to be some confusion here about what is a sex fetish.

Look to the Literotica story category as a guideline. "Feet, panties, transexual love, and other kinky things..."

Webster dictionary tends to be prudish and old fashioned in defining words. I never liked that dictionary. It tends to describe alternative lifestyles in a negative way.

A sexual fetish originally means you love the act so much, or watching it so much, that without it the sex isn't very fun and sexually exciting, or maybe not at all.

It needs to be something that you REALLY need to get you off.

For me (doing):

I like lots of stuff, but mainly voyeurism (and, in some circumstances, exhibitionism). Vixenshe has it nailed (at least for me) when she says 'the forbidden', which is what many (not all) of the things people cite as fetishes are.

High heels or fishnet hose may be a fetish, but while they're naughty, they aren't exactly forbidden. Peeping in your bedroom window or tieing you to a tree are forbidden.

I'm working this out as I type, so don't expect a fully-formed philosophy here.......
