His ivory thorn, sharp, biting
A life-tinted rose
Harvested in the night garden

Ebb and flow, watered by tears
Nourished in sleep, in darkness
She rises with the moon

To find a rose-bed
To pass on his roses

To harvest her own

Spare but specific.

Each line builds well on the previous. The only line I didn't get,

Ebb and flow, watered by tears

Do vampires experience remorse? Maybe I read it wrong. Anyways, very nice. Thanks.

* thermometer off (you could probably suck it up to 100 with those teeth) ;)

An extraordinary offering

As tender, threatening, and as beautiful as the roses.
