Curtain rises
on man and woman,
silhouetted in moonlight,
faceless and familiar.

Lips brush, lock, and part,
and tongues intertwine.

The shades of their caressing hands
explore yearning moans,
and two shadows
emanate from the darkness,
merging as one.

Their liquid electricity flows,
flashing the bright arc of their passion,

erupting to a muted ebb
of dim contented sighs

are quiet until

sparks kindled anew,
join fervent whispers:
Faster; Deeper; Harder.

Hearing in blindness,
two lovers sway serpentine
as one,

renewing their drama
in shadows.

Repeating.
Repeating.
Satiation.

Center stage--
shadow theatre
of life.
