O my god! This is a work of art! Your cliches are so wonderful. Really, you should quit your day job and spend it writing poetry because you are that good!
There is a good poem at the core of this. You've created a good setup for the reader but your language can be tightened further; the line 'it takes two to tango' is cliched, for example.
