i remember holding you
everybody said you had my eyes
but calling his angel home
so very soon caught me by surprise,
i often wonder how things would be
i smile and my heart goes silent
i still miss you
so save a place for me!
i gave the time i had
but it could never be enough
i know you are in a better place
so i vision you as you laugh,
i am a part of you
you are a part of me
always know i love you
so save a place for me!!

YDDalmost 20 years agoThe most poetically finished of this new writer's submissions,
it could be immediately improved with a new title.
The affectation of lowercase "i" is annoying,
and "enough" and "laugh" do not rhyme.
