perksalmost 20 years agoI don't know the history of this, but it feels like 8mile slam poetry style. I'd like to give a shout out to all my peeps in the poetry thread! Yeaaaah Yeaaaaaaah! w00t w00t!
YDDalmost 20 years agoAnother example of words primarily for structure's sake.
Perhaps it would be cute if it were not done so often.
I suppose some of your homonyms are meant
to lead the reader into different thoughts
worlds away from your basic purpose
but why would anyone bother to follow,
and what would they get if they did?
Two basic principles:
1. Write what you know.
2. Write for your audience.
