your friend Aleister
he who was the beast

I wanted him
between my thighs
I wanted him
to suck the flesh
off of the bones
of my soul
I wanted him

I should have
suckled him
until my breasts were dry and wrinkled
and then returned the favour
draining him
spent and shrivelled
his spendings
slime upon my tongue
I should have

but I didn’t
why would I?
when
I have your poetry
dry upon my tongue

does this surprise you?
I thought not

Straightforward

spare- lean and mean - with a clever twist. Thank you.

A beautiful...

...effort from a new poet. This is her second offering and I think she has a voice that rises high, and promises great poetry in the future. Please share more with us.

Great title

intriguing style.

A little feedback?this poem can be polished a little more by trimming the extraneous 'ands' here and there. I think doing so would only strengthen the piece even more.

Very well done, thank you.
