I feel the sigh escape your soul
Ensnared in time’s cold grasp
Leaves of anguish quietly grow
Nurtured by future’s past

A flaming sea of azure peace
In the tempest of passion’s grace
Shackles of need grasp firm the feast
In the freedom of hunger’s cage

With angel’s warp and demon’s weft
You weave on ardour’s loom
Patterns of lust mantle my cleft
Life’s fabric cloaks my womb

Come forth, eternal saviour be
Now immortal is his life
Onward the dead walk sight unseen
Down the road of infinity’s eye
