Alone in the night.
Hide no more fears,
By dawns early light.
Try to let go,
The past is gone.
Try to see,
The brightest light.
No longer alone,
To hide the fears.
Wrapped in a daze,
With unseen tears.
No longer cry,
The tears alone.
No longer afraid,
For I am here by your side.

But I'd like to know more about the tears and fears and what causes them. There needs to be a bit more poetic meat on this bone to make it memorable. :)
