Late Evening Breeze
By
Pervetta
8/27/04

Clandestine murmurs glide by on the breeze of a late summer night.
Soft, subtle touches like the brush of a feather on the inside of a thigh.
Sliding slowly, lazily back and forth.
Dark eyes darting at the slightest distraction.
Fear of being found out fluttering inside her breast like a captured bird.
His hand calming her with his caresses as he pulls her into him.
A lingering farewell kiss as they part.
A blown kiss catching and meeting on the late evening breeze as they part on that late summer night.

At first I thought.....

crap another prose piece hiding out in poetry land. Then

I realized the longer lines were hiding the two of you from

my prying eyes. I think you got some good advice in the

first two posts, but it is a meaningful read to me.

potential

Hi, the poem has potential. There are some very nice lines:

Clandestine murmurs glide by on the breeze of a late summer night.

A blown kiss catching and meeting on the late evening breeze

Consider reworking your line breaks...

...and this could become quite lovely.
