| Profile Statement:
I'm an English teacher by trade (I have twelve years of professional experience, in both middle and high school); as such, I have done a lot of basic proofreading over the years.
Moreover, over the past two years, I've become much more serious about my own writing and its development. I struggle with plot, dialogue, wordiness, etc., and so I feel that while aware of those potential weaknesses in a piece, I'm very sympathetic to those challenges a writer faces.
I'm willing to edit for both mechanics (i.e., grammar/spelling) and structure (i.e., plot, characterization, etc.). |
