I've been a Literotica member for about two years, and have enjoyed reading so many different types of erotic writing. Although I do not edit for a living, my professional life falls into the category of corporate training, and so I am used to assessing what someone is trying to say, and offering suggestions on how to say it more clearly.
I make a strong effort in my own writing to deliver a product which is clean (grammatically speaking!) and interesting to read. I am interested in the human and emotional element over the physical, and sometimes see stories posted that I think would be much more interesting with only a few more character details. I would expect my editing would reflect this. I do tend to trust the writer, and so if suspension of belief is needed, I can do that, providing there is consistency in the story. |
