Hi, I'm Shanna. I'm currently a 2nd year graduate student in a clinical psychology program. I also have a special interest in BDSM and enjoy reading a variety of BDSM-themed erotica.
A little bit about my experience: I regularly help my colleagues edit their writing for publication in research journals. I've taken many college level English classes and have lots of experience with critical reading and writing. Finally, I have worked as a tutor for high school students, helping them prepare for the essay portion of the SAT college entrance exam.
What I can do: I can help with grammatical and spelling edits for any type of story -- there's nothing I am uncomfortable with.
I am willing to do SOME structural editing as well, but this takes a lot more time, so it will be less frequent. Also, if you want editing for structure and content, I am only willing to do certain types of stories. I won't do any stories with M/M, F/F, or TS pairings, anything incest-themed, or stories about non-humans or sci-fi fantasy. This isn't because I'm opposed to the themes or dislike them. I just (a) haven't read enough similar material and (b) don't have a very wide breath of knowledge of these themes. Thus, I can't be an effective structural editor in any of those areas.
