Profile Statement: I'm English so can't pretend to know anything about the USA and don't feel comfortable offering suggestions to American writers. Really I'd love to be a writer but I totally lack the kind of imagination that's required to create original work. My writing is technically adept and I've published many papers on work related subjects. I see editing as essentially tidying up whilst retaining the character.
