My primary reason for wanting to be an editor on this site is the large number of spelling and grammar errors I see in otherwise excellent stories here. These stories need the attention of a careful, proficient editor before they are submitted for public reading, so that there are no unnecessary barriers to the reader's enjoyment and the author is judged on storytelling ability alone.
I would love to edit your story! I promise to catch and fix all spelling and grammar errors in that story to the best of my ability, and I'm confident that I can keep that promise.
